Kriya Yoga & Meditation with Kambiz Naficy

Kriya Yoga & Meditation
with Kambiz Naficy

Sunday, July 20
 4:30 - 8:30pm

Kambiz Naficy, an international master of Kriya Yoga meditation and
the founder of Joy of Life Organization:

Kambiz Naficy's teachings have transformed thousands of lives and are based on three principles, which quickly take students to states of mental clarity, deep silence, and bliss:

1.      The ancient science of Kriya Yoga meditation which took Master Naficy to the highest state of Samadhi and involves circulation of vitalizing breath around 72,000 energy-channels in the body. Kriya Yoga meditation also involves a gentle awakening of the Life Force, Kundalini Shakti, in the spinal column.
2.      Behavioral Psychology, which eliminates stubborn self-limiting ideas buried in the subconscious mind. These subconscious beliefs and behaviors keep people stuck in unwanted and self-limiting patterns.
3.      Vitalizing people's energy-fields by quieting their minds. This helps them fall into harmony with the Creative Force resulting in faster manifestation of wishes and needs.

Kambiz Naficy was initiated into Kriya Yoga by Swami Hariharananda (, and he comes from the same spiritual lineage as Paramahansa Yogananda (Autobiography of a Yogi). During the past twenty-five years, Master Naficy has been teaching the art of Kriya Yoga meditation in Canada, India, Iran, the United States, Sri Lanka, Sweden, and Switzerland; he now has thousands of followers from all walks of life.
Master Naficy created The Joy of Life Organization in 2001, and now leads the organization with several dozen assistants around the globe. Master Naficy has been conducting Kriya Yoga meditation, personal transformation, and personal coaching programs for the past twenty-five years on three continents. Occasionally, he collaborates with well-known holistic and Yoga meditation centers in the West.

Guru Purnima

To honor and respect our spiritual teachers
Guru – “Gu” – darkness   “Ru” – remover of darkness

Our beloved Guruji gifted to us the Ashtanga system as we know it today
He is the father of our lineage

Opening chant:  “Vande gurunam caranaravinde sandrasita svatma sukhava bodhe …”

“I bow to the two lotus feet of the Guru which awaken insight into pure being…”

The practice is our guru, our lessons of life, being present, no judgment…
Inspire, discipline, open to receive with “emptiness” (the beginner’s mind and attitude).

Are you passionate about your practice?  If so, learn and study it, eat properly, rest
It is an honor to be a student – challenge your mind
Grow and be grateful with your mind and spirit

Weekly Message

Guru Purnima – is an Indian festival dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers.  This festival tradionally celebrated by Hindus and Buddhists, to thank the teachers.  It is marked by ritualistic respect to the guru, Guru Puja.  The Guru Principle is said to be a thousand times more active on the day of Guru Purnima than any other day.  Gurus are believed by many to be the most necessary part of life.  On this day, disciples pay respect to their spiritual guides.

This week, we celebrate our teacher, Patabhi Jois and his simple, powerful teachings that have inspired our lives.  We celebrate the PRACTICE, the true teacher, that sheds light on our paths.

I celebrate the honor of teaching.  I thank each one of your for the privilege of sharing these powerful transformative teachings with you.  I am grateful every day I open the doors of the Shala and witness your unfolding.

I feel blessed to walk next to each of you on your yoga and life path.

Love ~ Diana
