Let’s review!

This Semester

Backbending – opening the FRONT of your body.
Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (upward facing dog) – Eastern intensive stretch
Paschimottanasana – Western intensive stretch
Release, lengthen and strengthen your psoas and iliacus muscles

This morning’s Conference

“Roll the paper … Unroll the paper” – open up your heart area ~ breathe big and
deeply to open your psoas and hip flexors
Urdhva Mukha Svanasana – engage your legs and press into the tops of your feet while pulling your heart area through (please don’t splay your heels out)
What causes back pain?  Sitting in chairs/cars with poor posture and fear.
